Campbelltown Arts Centre presents Gallery A Sydney 1964�1983: the first in-depth survey of Sydney�s most influential and occasionally controversial art gallery during this seminal time in Australian art history. Gallery A Sydney 1964 � 1983 is an exploration of art in Sydney during the politically-charged 1960s and 1970s as seen through the lens of one gallery. Gallery A is best known for exhibiting abstract art in Sydney for the first time and launching the careers of many major artists.
