The Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation (SCAF) showcases some of the more innovative art coming from across the Asia Pacific region.
SCAF is a not-for-profit venture building on 21 years of developing Sherman Galleries as a respected commercial and educational enterprise within an expanding Asia-Pacific and international art world.
SCAF began operating in April 2008 across Sherman Galleries Sydney exhibition space, which incorporates the SCAF ANNEXE (formerly viewing gallery) and SCAF OUT-SITE (formerly Sherman Art Box), as well as the Sherman Visual Arts Residency.
Aquasaurus by dynamic Indian artist Jitish Kallat is SCAF's final exhibition for 2008.
After an extended break over the Christmas and New Year period, SCAF will host 'The View From Elsewhere' - an exhibition of film, video and installation works, reflecting cultural constellations from East Asia to the Middle East.
