The park is located at Red Point - first named by Captain Cook during his discovery of Australia. The idyllic bushland setting is a sanctuary for a wide range
of bird and animal life. The park has its own, volleyball and table tennis facilities, modern playgrounds are also provided for children. A large boat ramp is
adjacent to the park and is popular with fishermen. Safe, almost wave-free swimming in boat harbour and Washerwoman's beach contrasted with Inyadda
Beach - a 'mecca' for surfers.
