Located in the historic cargo sheds of the Merimbula Wharf. Extensive range of fish and invertebrates which live on or visiting the south coast. Includes tropical fish which travel down on the warm currents each year. Each gallery shows specific species ie: bottom dwellers, venomous fish, tropical and tide pools. Also 70,000 litre tank displays ocean shoal fish. Marine biologist available to explain exhibits to groups by appointment. School groups receive special pamphlets. Note: Coach tours, road ends at wharf, turning restricted - use turning area signposted 50 metres prior to wharf and reverse to entrance. Provisions for disabled - access through lower ground floor.
