This pioneer's cemetery, located in Giles Street Katherine, was established in 1934. Set along the Katherine River, amid tranquil bush surrounds, the Katherine Cemetery offers a fascinating historical or genealogical perspective, and provides insight into the hardships of life in the outback. There is also a memorial wall in the rotunda.
