The Park comprises of 27 powered sites with dump facilities located on each site. There are numerous camping sites, six ensuite self-contained cabins and a large four - room bunkhouse. A modern well designed outdoor camp kitchen, amenities block and laundry facilities are located in the Park, including wheel chair access. The Park is ideally located in the centre of Thargomindah, close to shops, hotels, restaurants and the town attractions. It is an ideal location to base yourself for day tours to National Parks, birdwatching, historic pubs or to visit the Burke and Wills "Dig Tree".

There is access for guests with a disability. Explorers Caravan Park has one disabled cabin available. There is also one ladies and one mens shower and toilet recess in the main amenities block with ramps provided.
