A very small winery in the European mould established in 1982. The fine elegant wines, plus bigger bodied wines made for the second label, Galah, are available for tasting at the friendly and bucolic cellar door where the winemaker is often in attendance. Ashton Hills Vineyard lies just below the summit of Mount Lofty on a ridge top overlooking the Piccadilly Valley. Their wines reflect the regions cool and humid climate and have fine flavours with a lingering finish. The cellar door opened in 1991 and also offers a second label, Galah wine. Specialising in dry white and red table wines and sparkling wines. Grapes grown include Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay and Riesling.
