The City Skate Park located on North Terrace adjacent to the Morphett Street Bridge is a street style skate facility at which skaters of all ages test their skills on features such as a funbox, steps and blocks, seat grind, transition run and flat ramp combinations. There is also a three- on- three basketball court. City SK8 provides a space for young people to meet and a facility for them to recreate and showcase their skating and BMX talents. A range of activities and events are held in the summer months. Activities include coaching clinics, skating competitions and band performances. There is a web cam located at City SK8, so that young people can view the conditions of City SK8 via the Spinach website.
