The Classic Jets Fighter Museum houses a permanent collection of jet aircraft built between 1950 and 1980 flown by the Royal Australian Air Force and Royal Australian Navy.
Other aircraft from the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) are also on display together with engines, flight suits, photographs and an excellent display of historical aviation artefacts in well-lit cabinets.
The museum's magnificently restored Mirage III, A3-16; as well as the museums extremely rare and well-preserved Second World War P38 Lockheed Lightning fighter aircraft, may also be viewed..
Walk through and touch the historic Royal Australian Air Force and Royal Australian Navy jet fighter aircraft, see first hand the equipment and artefacts, view the restoration projects and you are even welcome to sit in the cockpit of the DH Sea Venom WZ-939, feeling the cramped confines of a real jet fighter aircraft.
Group bookings can be made for tours by appointment only.
