The worlds largest most continually staged historic motoring event.
Turn back the clock to the days when a motor vehicle was truly part of the Australian psyche and lifestyle - to a bygone era of leisurely Sunday drives and sedate outings. More than 100,000 spectators will line the route.
Held on the last Sunday in September each year, this years event is for vehicles manufactured 1 January 1956 until 31 December 1977. See 1,750 vehicles flagged off at 9am. Join us beforehand for breakfast with the cars enabling you to meet and mingle with owners.
There's no visitor entry fee at the start, so join us as we farewell entrants along the 70 kilometre route to the finish at the National Motor Museum in Birdwood. Please join in for the Classic Day at the finish. Use the South East Freeway and travel across the scenic Onkaparinga Valley to Birdwood, where the National Motor Museum in Birdwood will have a Classic Day. This includes bands, Concours dElegance judging, Adelaide Hills wine and food producers marquee (lunch platters and wine by the glass), entertainment, Fashion in the Field and the opportunity to view the latest exhibitions at the museum.
