Beltana Station (incorporating Puttapa Station) covers an area of some 410,000 acres and is a working property with up to 7000 head of mostly Merino sheep and up to 1500 head of beef cattle at any one time. Guests are able to experience a number of scenic four-wheel drive tracks on the property, including Mount Deception and Lake Torrens. Tag-along tours are also available by prior arrangement. Close by is the historic town of Beltana, where you can do a self-guided tour, using maps and information displayed throughout the town. Our location means you are ideally positioned to explore the whole of the Flinders Ranges by visiting a different area each day and returning to your accommodation at night. Accommodation consists of our historic shearers quarters (constructed of local stone), which has 10 lockable, comfortable rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and large dining room. Amenities are shared. If you are caravanning or camping, we also encourage you to try our facilities.
