Visit the Callington Show for a great family day out, including helicopter rides, Kool for Kids interactive show, a donkey gymkhana and musical entertainment. Punch and Judy puppets will also be there, an obstacle course and a variety of games on the oval, not to forget the annual 'Push for Gold' wheelbarrow race. Fill your bag with goodies on the Callington Copper Crawl. The Callington Memorial Hall will house some great show exhibitions. Remember to pick up your free lucky gate ticket for the 'Lucky Gate Prize'. Situated on the Bremer River, Callington is a well-preserved microcosm of a mid-nineteenth century Australian mining community. The whole township is included in the Register of the National Estate and the Bremer Mine site, together with individual significant buildings within the township, are also listed on both the Register of the National Estate and the State Heritage Register.
