The Pinnaroo Club's nine-hole course is situated in the heart of the township next to the hospital, school, churches, and a fine avenue of trees. Using alternate tees and lengths, golfers can enjoy an 18-hole round on excellent greens. Several doglegs, tricky sand traps, and two large hills make it a challenging course even for the experienced golfer. The par three thirteenth is one of the most deceptive. The tee itself is pleasantly wide, but it takes a good six iron to get through a bottleneck of Mallee scrub to reach the tight green. Pinnaroo is a major centre for a wheat, barley, sheep and mixed farming community.
