Purchase a plastic duck for AUD3.00 that is allocated a number, you may keep your duck after the race. Ducks can be purchased months ahead before the race and you don�t need to be present on the day. The ducks are set off on the tide in the bay and they race to the finish line. There are approximately 10 prize places. Modified Duck Race: There will be a powered (add a motor or engine to the duck) and unpowered sections (for example add a sail to the duck). Rubber Duck Fashion Parade: Either purchase a duck for AUD3.00 or use a duck from a previous race and dress it up. Then enter the fashion parade; owners may dress up as well with their ducks.
