Aurora Beach Cottage provides self-contained accommodation in Bicheno on Tasmania�s stunning east coast. This cottage hideaway offers the ultimate in private accommodation. The first floor bedroom is appointed with a queen-size bed and balcony. Off the lounge room is a sunroom alcove with a double bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and spacious living area. Breakfast provisions are provided including eggs, bacon, cereal, toast and spreads. Aurora is a unique cottage adjacent to a coastal wetland and lagoon, situated between Freycinet National Park and the Bay of Fires. You can enjoy the natural environment and relax on the pristine beach, cast a fishing line or visit coastal wineries. Warm yourself by the cosy wood fire in your cottage and watch the waves break on the beach. At dusk head into Bicheno for the Fairy penguin tour and watch as the penguins make their way up the beach to nest. Children from eight to 14 years are free. Aurora is not suitable for children under the age of eight. Aurora is about 15-minutes� (18 kilometres/11 miles) drive from the heart of Bicheno and just over 2-hours drive from Launceston.
