Bay of Fires Chalet provides scenic accommodation at Binalong Bay on Tasmanias sunny east coast. Relax on the deck overlooking the waters of Skeleton Bay and Binalong Bay.
The chalet consists of spacious living on the ground floor and a children's retreat in the attic above. Two living areas and a second bathroom divide the home well for larger groups. There are four bedrooms with two queen-size beds and four single beds, accommodating up to eight guests. Natural Tasmanian timbers feature throughout the home and there is a bathroom with shower and bath as well as laundry facilities. A freestanding fire provides warmth on cooler nights. There is a modern kitchen and a wood-fired barbecue by the deck is ideal for alfresco dining on warm summer evenings.
Relax on the expansive decks of this architecturally-designed timber home and take in the sweeping sea views. Walk along the beaches, bush trails and foreshore of the national park area. Swim in tranquil rock pools, catch fish from the waters edge or collect mussels and oysters from the shallows.
From Launceston, Binalong Bay is approximately two and a half hours drive (177 kilometres/110 miles) and a short 10-minute drive from St Helens.
