The Beauty Point Tourist Park offers self-contained and camping accommodation in northern Tasmania. It is located on the picturesque banks of the Tamar River.
Beauty Point Tourist Park has 40 powered sites, some with water views. There are drive-through sites suitable for larger vehicles as well as grassed and concrete-pad tent sites. The park has 10 self-contained cabins and two self-contained caravillas. The cabins and caravillas have double or queen-size beds with electric blankets and all include heaters, linen and towels. The en suite cabins have full cooking facilities and there is a television in the living area. The park also has a communal kitchen and barbecue area, laundry facilities and a full-size tennis court. The Beauty Point Tourist Park is located on 2.8 hectares (seven acres) of land adjoining a further 2.8 hectares of conservation area.
Visit local attractions including Platypus House and Seahorse World. Drive five-minutes and you will find the Beaconsfield Mine, site of the �Great Escape.� You can visit nearby Narawntapu National Park, take a cruise to see Australian fur seals or watch fairy penguins return to their burrows at dusk.
Beauty Point is about a 40-minute drive from Launceston (44 kilometres/27 miles).
