Built in 1906, Acacia is a beautifully-restored country house surrounded by extensive cottage gardens. Originally built as a family home, it features large rooms, three-metre ceilings and five open fireplaces. You can choose from a two bedroom, en suite room, with one queen and two single beds, or a large double room or twin room, each with a private bathroom. All rooms have electric blankets, heating, clock radio and hairdryer.
A home cooked breakfast, featuring fresh Tasmanian produce, is served in the dining room each morning. The guest lounge has a cosy log fire � the perfect place to relax on cool evenings with an after-dinner port, coffee and home-baked biscuits. There is also a television, DVD player, books and games. Acacia also has a guest laundry, outside barbecue and tea and coffee making facilities.
In Sheffield, you can admire the town�s impressive collection of public murals. Over 47 murals have been painted on Sheffield�s shops and public buildings. The town also hosts tha annual Global Mural Fest � an international mural competition.
