While the exterior and the great dimensions of the public rooms are pure 19th century, there is a distinctively Australian feel to its wide encircling verandah - an ideal spot to watch the sunset and enjoy a pre-dinner drink. When you venture out into our grand lounges, you can make you entrance either down the grand staircase, or more discreetly in our modern lift. The Shamrock cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the ambience is smart casual. The Shamrock cafe features fresh local produce and a selection of the great wines from the Bendigo region. The Victorian Wine Room (our latest addition) is a totally unique dining experience with a classical French inspired menu, featuring local produce and serving only Victorian wines. The Hotel Shamrock has a number of small dining rooms that are ideal for special occasion celebrations or business lunches. Coffee and snacks are available in Diamond Lil's all hours.
