The Cohuna Caravan Park is situated one kilometre north east of the Post Office on Gunbower Island. Bordered on three sides by the Gunbower Creek, the Park occupies 6 hectares of land and is set amongst magnificent weeping willows, huge gum trees and many native shrubs interspersed with vast lawn areas. The Park has 282 powered sites, three ensuite and two standard cabins available. Two fully tiled amenity blocks, coin laundry and dryer and playground equipment are part of the services provided to make our visitors stay an enjoyable one. A covered barbecue area with electric barbecues is provided as is tourist information, kiosk, gas and ice supplies. The Gunbower Island is an ideal destination for nature lovers. Popular activities include birdwatching, canoeing, fishing and pleasure driving.
