BHP Billiton Nickel West presents the 2009 Awesome International Arts Festival for Bright Young Things, a showcase of engaging, challenging and spectacular artists and performers from all over the world!
The Awesome Festival invites young people from ages six to sixteen years and their families to experience astonishing art, still every year people of all ages flock to the event to share in the wonder and excitement that Awesome brings to Perth.
Where else could you find a circus that has shrunk in the wash? A human skateboard? Shakespeare performed by tiny ninja figurines? An Automatic Teller Machine that dispenses self-help advice? Giant sand sculptures? And a life-size interactive board game? Not to mention a magic dog that turns rubbish into recycled treasure!
Awesome brings Perth audiences heaps of free family fun, with so much more on offer than you could ever get through in one day.
