Just 26 kilometres along the coast, north-east from Karratha, is Cleaverville Beach. The turnoff is 19 kilometres from the Karratha Road turnoff and access is via a gravel track.
Overnight camping fees are now applicable at this favourite camping spot, which is also an excellent destination for a day drive.
The area around the mouth of Cleaverville River offers many attractions, for locals and visitors a like. Boat launching, fishing, swimming, and camping are popular reasons for visiting the scenic spot.
