A drive along the bitumen road or a short climb to the top of Mount Welcome behind the Roebourne township offers a wonderful panoramic view of the coastal plains and rugged hills of the surrounding area. The railroad from Cape Lambert can be seen weaving its way through the hills to Pannawonica in the south, as well as the pipeline carrying water from Millstream to Wickham and Cape Lambert.
