Explore the natural beauty of Poonda Pool, one of Newman's natural waterholes. Drive north about 24.5 kilometres along the Marble Bar Road and turn left at the signs to the Yandi Mine. Go approximately three kilometres to the railway line and cross it. Follow this for 35 kilometres, following the railway line until you reach the 356 kilometre peg. Turn left at the sign posted track. Travel for 11 kilometres along this track, which brings you to a T junction. Turn right at the Poonda Pools sign, travel five kilometres to the riverbed and turn left up the creek. Follow well used track for five kilometres up the creek, veer right close to the ridge, the last kilometre is through a tunnel of vegetation.
