A popular family and community reserve since Port Hedland's early days. An ideal spot for swimming, fishing and shell collecting. Fish range from cod to bream and sharks. Recommended baits are mullet, prawns and squid. Crabbing is also popular away from the mouth of the creek. Due to a risk of stonefish, strong shoes should be worn if walking on the rocky reef area. Parking, toilets, and rest areas are located at the top of Pretty Pool on Matheson Drive.
