Established 1994 with plantings of shirax sauvignon blanc and semillon. Situated on the picturesque scarp of the Darling Ranges with views to Bunbury and the ocean. To the east is the state forest and Wellington Dam. Henty Brook Estate was first established in the Henty Brook area and now the district has flourished to the stage of 13 vineyards in the hamlet vicinity and approximately 30 in the total Ferguson Valley area. The district enjoys pristine conditions with moderate to warm days and cool nights fanned by breezes from the Indian Ocean. The rich loam gravel and clay soils provide ideal growing conditions. Henty Brooke Estate shiraz has figured prominently in wine shows, it has wine made under contract by renowned winemakers of the region. In addition to producing fine wines the vineyard is a supplier of quality grapes within the "Geographe region" and also to other regions throughout Western Australia including the Margaret River and Harvey Wine region. Current varieties include sauvignon blanc semillon blend, sauvignon blanc, semillon, shiraz and other blends.
