The Flagstaff Hill Golf Club is set in a picturesque area, studded with old gums and surrounded by almost 1,000 modern homes.
Hooker Rex Proprietary Limited developed the suburb of Flagstaff Hill in the mid 1960s. In 1967 the golf club was formed and the Clubhouse built. A purpose built dam provides water for maintenance of the course and forms part of the picturesque par three on the seventh hole.
The course has developed into a testing and picturesque Par 72 and is fully established with 18 holes of beautifully grassed, tree lined fairways, native shrubs, tees and greens.
The large modern Clubhouse includes a Members Lounge and a large Dining Room which can be hired by members and the general public for large conventions, entertainment, social occasions, private functions, weddings and trade days.
Golf can be played without a member on Monday, Thursday and Friday only.
